Hi, i am using Tapo doorbell d235, and am finding several functions pretty ilogical making me feel super disappointed with this product,

1. If wifi connectivity is lost, no recordings take place on local sd card, which make no sense whatso ever.

2. If wifi is lost, the light on door bell flashes red continously, basically notifying any intruder, you are clear to go, don t worry about this camera, camera is out of service, that isretarded to say the least, insult to injury, no notification is sent to owner on the app that connectivity is lost.

3. Sd card, though fully functional, goes to 'sd card not formated, format as per instructions on app' this is continously announced from the camera speaker, once again a superetarded move, informing any mal intended person that camera is malfunctioning and once again no such notification is pushed to owner on app.

Is it me setting up something wrong or is this product seourisly designed with all these horrible flaws???

When a microSD card is inserted in the doorbell, the doorbell can continue recording normally even during an internet or Wi‑Fi interruption. From what you’ve said, it sounds like the SD card might be acting up, which could stop it from recording properly. How often do you hear that voice alert? And are you sure the doorbell is still saving videos to the card when it happens?

Please ensure the used SD card is a supported type by Tapo doorbell. SD cards that do not meet the required specifications for sustained read/write operations, or those with limited endurance, may encounter performance issues over prolonged use. What type of microSD card does Tapo/Kasa Camera support?

Thanks for your feedback on the LED indicator. We’ve passed it to the team for review.
