Does anyone know why my tapo 520WS seems to constantly lose its home position. 

It ends up looking at the sky and misses all activity in the watch zone.

Hi, 
If your camera does not return to the correct position after tracking, and its viewpoint is offset. Please refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot.
What to do if the Tapo Pan/Tilt camera can't return to its original position properly after tracking
