Hello @GabrielPhoto ,

You can find the hardware version of your device as follows: How to find the hardware version on a TP-Link device

@Joseph-TP To be honest I would like even if we can't change it! Different VLANs, for example :
User lan - vlan1

IOT lan - vlan 10

Guest lan - vlan 20

I feel more safe with different ipranges then what there is now. It is based on OpenWRT, so it can't be difficult.

Hello @Szaki26a ,

Have you noticed when this anomaly started? Did it occur after updating to the latest pre-release firmware?

I noticed that you are also in contact with the engineers. Please prioritize providing the engineers with feedback on relevant details.

  @Joseph-TP

I also sent an email to support. I thought it would be a good idea to let the community know about the problem — it may not be happening only to me. :)

@Joseph-TP Hi. I found a strange behavior of BE800. Propably two BUGs.

If you restart BE800 as a satellite, it has DHCP server enabled during boot.

And after a restart, it randomly connects via wifi or cable next restart, but I have no problem with cable connectivity.

First restart

Second one

And I thing. I see it in Easymesh for a few minutes with the IP address I assigned to it via DHCP, but when I click manage, link opens to a completely different network to IP 192.168.0.254!

And another problem. At home we have all Philips TVs. And they all have low WiFi throughput. It doesn't matter if it's 2.4 or 5GHz. We have 55PUS8818 and 65OLED908.

Hello @tlkounev ,

Welcome to our community.

May I know if your network topology diagram is as follows:

ISP modem—main router—switch—BE800 )))((( client devices

(Note: — stands for wired connection,)))((( stands for wireless connection )

For problem one:

Based on your description, it seems that after rebooting the Satellite BE800, it attempted to establish EasyMesh backhaul with the main router (including identifying Wireless Backhaul and Ethernet Backhaul). This process may take some time.

Have you noticed how long Ethernet Backhaul typically takes to fully recover after a reboot?

For problem two:

The IP address you see for the BE800 in the EasyMesh list is usually its WAN IP. However, the web management interface uses its LAN IP. So, I don't think this is a bug.

Hello @tlkounev ,

Have you compared with other wireless clients? If other devices are working normally, here are some targeted steps to address this:

For the Philips TVs specifically:
1. Update TV firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your Philips 55PUS8818 and 65OLED908. Outdated firmware can cause WiFi performance issues.

2. Check TV WiFi settings: Some TVs have power-saving modes or WiFi optimization settings that can limit throughput. Check your TV's network settings for any such options.

3. Router compatibility settings: Log in to your router's web interface (http://tplinkwifi.net), go to Advanced > Wireless > Wireless Settings:
   • Try setting the wireless mode to a more compatible standard (e.g., if using WiFi 6, try switching to WiFi 5/AC mode)
   • For 5GHz, try reducing the channel width to 40MHz or 80MHz
   • Test different WiFi channels

4. Verify no restrictions: In the router's web interface or Tether app, check that the TVs are not included in any Parental Control profiles or QoS rules that might be limiting their bandwidth.
