Hi All,

This post provides a comprehensive guide on installing Wall Plate EAPs using two different methods. We hope that this information proves helpful to those who may need it. In this guide, we will use the EAP615-Wall and EAP655-Wall as examples. The main difference between the two methods is that the EAP655-Wall requires the detachment of an additional EAP faceplate compared to the EAP615-Wall.

For EAP615-Wall:

1. Detach the faceplate of the junction box with a Phillips screwdriver.
2. Insert the enclosed screws and tighten them with a Philips screwdriver to secure the mounting bracket.
3. Connect the Ethernet cable inside the junction box to an RJ45 plug, and then connect the cable to the ETH0 (PoE IN) port. Position the Ethernet cable to ensure it is not strained.
4. Attach the EAP to the mounting bracket by aligning the two mounting studs on the mounting bracket with the large openning of the slots on the EAP, and then press and slide the EAP down until it locks into place.

2. Detach the faceplate of the EAP with a screwdriver.
3. Connect the Ethernet cable inside the junction box to an RJ45 plug, and then connect the cable to the UPLINK+PoE port. Position the Ethernet cable to ensure it is not strained.
4. Insert the enclosed screws and tighten them with a triangular screwdriver to secure the mounting bracket.
5. Press the faceplate of the EAP back into position.
