Archer C6 2.4G band stops working, disable then enable restores
Recently purchased Archer C6 Router running the latest firmware. On 4 occasions the 2.4G WiFi band has stopped working, devices can connect to it but get no network access. Disabling and enabling the 2.4G band on the admin interface restores the connectivity, the 5G band is not affected, a device connected to it is used to reset the 2.4G band.
I used the chat support service to discuss the issue and the suggestion was to change from automatic to a fixed channel for the 2.4G band, this appeared to resolve the issue but it has happened again today, a phone which only works on 2.4G was showing the WIFI as access denied.
is there anything else I can do to resolve this issue.

no problems with 5Gz so far with 1.3.0 / 1.3.4, but unfortunately I cannot say that exactly
2.4Ghz e.g. the shelly relay Switches and the Nest hello lose the connection after a few hours.
Also some Xiaomi Yeelight bulbs lose their 2.4 Ghz connections
1.3.1 beta is ok but not as stable as the 1.2... Versions

When I use Mikrotik as client to 2.4GHz on Archer A6/C6 eventually it looses connection and while trying to reconnect client logs "authentification timeout". At this point 2.4GHz SSID is still visible but not accepting any connections. 5GHz continues to work without a problem. This problem can happen after few hours or after dozens of days of uptime - the range is huge and pretty random. It is all true for all firmwares upto 1.3.0. The latest firmware I am avoiding for now.

Thanks for the detailed network topology.
It seems that there are lots of smart IoT devices in the network and are they all connecting to the 2.4GHz? May I know how many 2.4GHz devices the AVM Fritz!box 7590 can handle?
How many devices connect to the Archer C6 most of the time? Is it possible to change one of the Archer C6 to Router mode and wire it to the AVM Fritz!box 7590 directly with cable simply for a test to see if the 2.4GHz will be more stable?

AVM Fritzbox is a very powerful Router
Memory: RAM: 512 MB - NAND-Flash: 512 MB
CPU: Seale GRX550 @ 1000 MHz - MIPS32 / InterAptiv 34Kc - CPU-Cores: 2
Load ballancing is working fine most of the time, wireless clients are distributed
e.g.
Fritzbox - 8
Archer C6/1 - 20
Archer C6/2 - 15
BTW. I don't understand your question! Everythings was working fine before update to 1.3.0 and later!

Very interesting. This chimes with my experience of an old TL-WR841N that I was using as a switch and WAP that I eventually recently replaced - it would go for days before suddenly becoming unresponsive on the wireless (wired was fine). My router in London is a Vigor 2862.
The problem we are experiencing might have existed in the code for a long time. It's just that, as I am now using the C6 as the main router in Brussels, it isn't really feasible to just reset it each time.

This would perhaps explain why the 2.4 GHz drop-out only be came an issue earlier this year, having worked fine last year.

Hi all,
I am coming with same trouble on wifi 2.4Ghz, after approximaty 1 day wifi crash. All device on 2.4Ghz are offline (like IOT). 5Ghz still working.
Need to reboot the access point.
So can it be fixed by firmware update are is it definitely a hardware problem ?
firmware : 1.3.4 Build 20200512 rel.51608(4555)
