Intermittent internet dropouts on the TPLink AX-6000
This only happened after the latest firmware (its not even on the website yet), but laptops in my home with an Intel WiFi chipset seem to be connecting to my AX6000, but are unable to connect to the internet. I have verified that this issue is localised to the Intel chipsets, as my mum's old Broadcom adapter never loses connection.
I have tried switching off "Smart Connect", rebooting the router, turning off the 5Ghz band AND turning off Wifi 6 to no avail. The devices lose their interconnection intermittently, when the computer reports the device as "Connected, with no internet", I cannot even get into the router gateway.

I have the same problem. Sometimes band 2.4 disappears and band 5 remains. It only returns when I restart the router. Again band 5 disappeared. This is horrible.

I'm having this same issue.
Intermitten wifi outage.
I've noticied the following issues:
1. No loss of Internet from my ISP.
2. Firmware: 1.0.6 Build 20190822 rel. 26396
3. Some devices will auto connect to our guest account since the 2.4Mhz wifi is not connecting.
4. Sometimes the devices will show the 2.4mhz main wifi but you can't connect to it and say's it's unable to connect to.
5. See attached photo of our Advanced Settings.
6. The issue seems to only be with the wifi, not our wired clients.
7. Not sure if it matters, but we have 9 wired clients and 14 wireless clients.
Thank you!

Hi Kevin how are you? My problem is that from time to time the band 2.4 disappears and remains only 5. Sometimes the opposite. To resolve it I always need to restart the router. Would have some firmware for my case?

I received the beta firmware on Friday, February 7th. So far I haven't had any problems. They also asked to leave channel 1, 6 or 11 in band 2.4 and width Channel on 20mhz. Band 5 asked to leave on a static channel and width channel on 20mhz too. So far it seems that it has solved, any problem will come back here.
I hope that you at tp link pay more attention to this router since it is a top of the line and not cheap. I almost bought an Asus. Such a router was not supposed to give so much trouble!

@Kevin_Z I have the ax6000 and it is 1/3 to 1/2 the speeds on wireless and wired compared to the ac1200 router my isp provides. I have 1000m down 50m up cable internet. I thought it was just the ax6000 but tried the tplink c4000 and basically the QOS and homecare is causing the problems. I have tried countless times to get in touch with support via phone and email without luck. I HAD GREAT LUCK with the tplink ax1500 because qos can be disabled. I just want firmware!

hello, thanks for your valued reply and glad to hear that the firmware works for you.
And our engineers are working on it and will fix it.
As a workaround, you can use the beta firmware to get the stable connection and you can keep an eye on official website to get more updates.
Good day.
