the app needs to be in the root of the applications folder for it to work properly.
also it's not signed properly so you need to go to settings -> security and allow it to be run.
it does run and sees my power line plugs.

Hi everyone...
I'm trying to download the utility for my TP-PA4010P extenders, however, I seem to be having the same problem as all of you guys...
I managed to bypass the security so my Mac lets me open the app (control-click of the icon to open!) but now I get this box appear:
osascript
osascripwants to make changes.
Enter your password to allow this.
So I enter my mac password, then the box and the tplink app disappears and nothing happens. Nothing!
I have all my extenders plugged in, but I don't think any of them a doing a thing! HELP!

Hi - I would like to understand what kind of changes the utility needs to make to my Operating System before it will run, for it to require the admin password to the machine? Is there documentation for this somewhere?
