I have the TAPO Pan tilt camera and want to point it facing out of the window however there is alot of glare and at night the IR turns on and you can only see the reflection of the camera. 

 

Is there anyway around this?

Hi all, do not click the settings button on the camera liveview window.

 

Instead, click the liveview window and then you will see the picture attached below.

You can try to switch to day mode at night manually to give it a go. 

 

Go to liveview page and click the settings page, there you can select day mode.

@Kevin_Z  i cannot see the day mode in settings on the app. Is there a way to get into it?

You need click the liveview page and then on the right upper corner, you can see the settings button, click it to verify whether you can see day mode. 

 

If still cannot, please show me a screenshot of this page.

@r4vvm I can't see the day or night mode option either and wanted to use my camera in a window to point out over the driveway but it seems its not possible to do this due to the glare from the window at night and the infra red which can't be turned off?
