TAPO C200 can't write memory card
Hi, good day. My Tapo C200 when I insert memory card can't write . Each time I insert 2 GB and 4 GB , camera will notified me " there a problem with SD card". Or do I need to use specific memory type like class 6 or 10?

For your information, Tapo C200 supports a micro SD card with up to 128GB capacity, which should be formatted in FAT32, and it is suggested to format the card on the Tapo Camera APP first.
Try to change another SD card to test if possible.
Please ensure that the firmware version of the camera and the APP version are both up to date.

I also have the same issue. Hardware and App are up to date. I've removed the camera and the app and reinstalled without success. I'm using a SanDisk ultra128gb which works ok in another device. It says card problem on start up and the app locks up in the format menu

Not working for me. I have samsung 2g sd card and the camera tells me there is an error and won't format it. I formatted it in my pc as FAT32 and the card is fine. Why won't the camera recognize it? I don't want to have to buy another card.

@Kevin_Z I tried to format the SD card through the app but it doesn't work keeps saying that there is a problem with the SD card. The SD card is 128Gb high speed class 10 Micro SD.

How longe last the formating operation in the câmera? That because its to slow I wait more than 30 minutes and dont formato the sd card 128gb

Hello, usually it will take a few minutes to format the SD card, it also depends on the card quality and capacity. You can try to format it on the computer first, then formate it on the app.
