Deco M3W AC1200 - No Connected Clients Showing
Hello
I have setup a Mesh network using 3 X Deco M4 units which has totally transformed our internet! They are amazing!
There was one area of the house which was still a bit low on WIFI wo i have purchased and installed a Deco M3W - This seems to have fixed the problem but i cant confirm how its working as it shows up differently in the App
The Deco M4 units show up with what clients are connected to each one, which gives me great confidance the system is working as it should.
The M3W simply says "Deco is wokring well" with no options to see any connected clients - am i doing something wrong?
Thanks very much in advance
Mark

Hello, sorry that there is currently no exact date or time expectation for the M3W new firmware release, it is suggested to keep an eye on the Deco app or the official website to get more updates.
Deco firmware updates are released on a rolling basis, and new features will be added via the firmware upgrade. However, before releasing new firmware officially, we need to do round and round tests to verify the performance of the whole mesh system as well as the stability, so it will take some time and we hope our customers be more patient with this.
Good day.

Hello Mark, it is normal, you do not have to worry about it cause the Deco M3W does not support this feature yet; that is why you cannot review the detailed information on the Deco page;
And you can verify that it will indicate that the feature is unavailable when you hit a client which connects to the Deco M3W.
So in one word, it is caused by the lack of correspondingly feature. And it will be added via firmware upgrade in the future.
May it help.

Hi! I have a Deco M3W, for few months now... when is expected new firmware?
The lack of advanced info like the connected devices to it, is cause-me a lot of issues... we can't also disable the "mesh" feature to avoid some fixed devices to be jumping between other deco's.
If we have 3 M4's we have this available, but after add the M3W, some of the features simply disappear!!
Thanks, João

Any news on this? I think the M3W feels useless without knowing what's connected.
I tested unplugged all satalites apart from one main M4 and one M3W - the M4 doesn't even say it connects to the M3W

Hi
Can you please confirm if we're any closer to this firmware update?
I too have fallen into the trap of buying one of the M3Ws to resolve a coverage gap, and in the understanding that this would be compatible with my existing kit (M5s), only to find it's compatible alright, but removes key pieces of functionality from my mesh.
I do really think you either need to be much clearer about this, or to get that firmware update out as quickly as you can. I note that people have been raising this since Dec 19 from what I can find. I know this has been an odd year but I don't think an issue as big as this should take you nearly a year to sort.
