Archer AX6000 openVPN connection stops working after regenerating certificate
hi,
I've configured VPN with the following settings:
and it was working at first, but after I generated a new Certificate and exported the configuration file, I can no longer connect to the openVPN server.
I've tried restarting the router, regenerating the certificate again, switching to UDP and to another port, but non of which worked.
I tried checking if the port is opened using putty and online port scanner tools, both shows that the port is not opened.
I also don't see any entries in system log related to VPN startup and thus I have no way to troubleshoot.
The last option for me is to reset the router to factory settings and try again, but that means down time and loosing all the configurations (I know there is a backup and restore function, but I'm not sure if it will also restore the broken openVPN settings)
Can TPLink support kindly provide some assistance?
