I see a red record button, so you can create a recording of the action from the camera, but no icon for taking a image.
How do you take a screenshot/snapshot from within the app ?

Hello, sorry to tell you that there is no built-in option to take a screenshot/snapshot on the KASA APP; we can record the video manually now by clicking the red record button as you know.
You can use the corresponding feature on your cellphone to take a picture as a workaround.
