Hi,

I am also facing Error Code: 1 with Beta firmware, I am using Airtel N/W in Tamilnadu, India and I have set band as 3 & 40. If its connects with these bands then I get good down/upload speed.

Most of the time it will connect to only 40 and will not connect to both 3 & 40 automatically even I have set 3 & 40 and Signal strength is 100% (as I have connected outdoor LPDA antenna).

As a workaround, last few months manually first I choose set Band 3 in both and save. It will connect to Band3(forcefully) and then I will change the second band to 40 and save. So it will connect 3 & 40(I assume its already connected to 3 and it can aggregate with 40) .. it will be there only for some time few hrs or half a day and it will band 3 will disconnect and connect only with band 40..    again I do the same as above when I need fast internet.

Unfortunately even that is not working and I am getting an ERROR CODE 1, Internal Error.

ANY SOLUTION TO THIS PLEASE ???

Thanks

@Satheskumar I'm also exactly in the same boat. Any response from the TP-Link team would be helpful.

@darant

First of all thanks for the excellent work.

I managed to install the update without any problems, but I don't have the option to choose the band ...

In the meantime there is another version, is it your final?

@Nuno_Pereira

Did you install the below beta firmware on your MR600?

@Satheskumar     @Prasath_ragavan

Hi, when did you encounter this error code 1? Which page? Are you still able to manage the router web interface at the moment? If you can no longer manage it, you may need to reset the router to factory defaults and reconfigure it from scratch, then confirm.

As for the band or carrier aggregation, I'm afraid we have no more suggestions if you cannot choose the band 3 and band 40 combination, are you able to choose other combinations?

If possible, you may try to get another 4G+ Wi-Fi router and put this SIM card on it, confirm if you can select band 3 and band 40 together stably, as it's not  clear whether this is caused by the router or by the SIM card carrier itself.

@Kevin_Z

Hi Kevin,

As i explained in #413, the band 3 & 40 connects and works well for some time and then disconnect automatically in some time and it will connect only with 40 all the time.

and further it won't connect in both band 3 & 40 automatically, So I need to use a trick like choosing 3 in both (BAND A & BAND B) selection, so router only has the option to connect in 3 and once its connected with 3 then I choose BAND B as 40.. so now router will connect with both bands. but it will not stay for a longer time as I mentioned earlier.

If you say its network issue(SIM) then how I am able to connect with 3 & 40 when I do manually(using my trick) even if any drop in a particular band from the service provider and once its restored router should capable of connecting with both the band automatically which is not happening. that is my issue from day 1.

Additionally, i am getting an error code 1 sometimes when I choose the BANDS. Also, I have done a factory restore several times. I can not go with again one more new router unless I get ti for free or testing purpose !!!. I expect TPLINK should test it thoroughly.

@Kevin_Z

Actually the version I had was the previous one, I installed the new one but the option of choosing a band still does not appear ...

Now it’s asking to update

@Nuno_Pereira

How about resetting it to factory defaults and reconfigure it from scratch? Will you be able to get the option?

If still no, please kindly show me the Advanced->Network->Internet page, thanks.

@Kevin_Z

Two days ago I updated my MR600 with this one:

Archer MR600(EU)_V1:

https://static.tp-link.com/2020/202012/20201207/Archer_MR600v1_1.1.0_0.9.1_[201204-rel66940]_up_boot_2020-12-04_19.05.35.zip

since then  I have problem on boot.

Already in the reboot after update, the device did't boot correctly.

After the reboot it worked fine

I have a scheduled daily reboot, but often it fails.

Is it a known problem?

Thanks
