Model: Archer AX1500
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.7 Build 20191206 Rel. 8935(4555)

Hi,

I have bought this new router instead of my old one.

When I connected Internet cable to WAN (blue) port in the router, then after a little time it said "WAN port is unplugged" and led status is "Orange". Then I thought it must be an ISP issue and I put the cable in my old router, everything worked fine. Also everything worked fine when I plugged the cable directly to my PC.

Then I tried to clone old router MAC address - still nothing.

Then I tried to connect my new router WAN port with old router LAN port and then everything worked perfectly(Internet led was Green). It looks like WAN port is working.

What can I else try to do? Or it's a warranty case?

Thanks,
Nick

@Nick2019

Have you already tried to set the "Internet Port Negotiation Speed" to a fixed mode, instead of "Auto Negotiation"? Perhaps even try 100 Mbps if 1000 Mbps doesn't work.

@Nick2019

Have you log into the router web/management interface and setup the router, Internet parameter, to match that of the old router? Was any quick installation or user guide manual follow? From the router management interface, what was display or the status under Internet on the new router versus old router?

@Nick2019

Thank you all for your feedback.

No the issue is solved.

The solution is: in the router I had to choose ports speed as "100MB full duplex". After it router received Internet IP address.
