Unable to find my router on Tether App
Tether app is unable to find my Archer C20 V4.
Are there any specific settings or firmware required. ?

If you're using an Archer C20(WISP) V5, which cannot be found on the Tether app, please download and install the firmware we provided in the below thread, then confirm if you can manage the router via Tether app:

Please check the following info if Tether cannot detect the router:
1. Make sure the smartphone is connected to the TP-Link host wireless network.
2. Make sure the router is running the latest firmware.
3. Turn off the VPN software on your phone if you have one.
4. Reboot the router or restart the Tether app.

I am also facing same issue with C20 V5, when i called TP-Link technical team they told Indian version V5 will not support Tether App. I think TP-Link India selling all junk products to indians.
TP-Link support also confirmed there is NO gurantee this V5 will support Tether App in future also.

Actually, this Archer C20 V4 and V5 should be compatible with the Tether app, can you confirm again if your phone is connected to the Archer C20's Wi-Fi network and getting a valid IP address.

BTW, For the devices working as Access Point, only when its LAN IP address is on the same segment of the phone can it be discovered by Tether. (Some devices in Access Point mode do not support Tether).

Hi,
I tried all possibl ways no luck, i am using in router mode only. Below is my firmware version
Firmware Version:3.16.0 0.9.1 v6038.0 Build 190925 Rel.62876n
Hardware Version V5.
Even i talked with TP-Link India technical support agent 2 times, they confirmed V5 will not support Tether App. But then why TP-Link India website says it supports Tether App?
Can you tell me whether firmware is latest or i need to upgrade? TP-Link india support told this latest one only.
