AV500 - tpPLC utility doesn't show wireless settings
I am trying to re configure an AV500 because the wireless credentials are now outdated and my current router doesn't have WPS.
I have successfully reset the wired adapter and the AV500 and the ethernet over powerline works but obviously the wireless side needs re configuring since I did the factory reset.
I have installed the recommended utility ( tpPLC ) from the link on the download page for the AV500 and it works fine - I can see the two devices and the transfer speed but strangely it seems to give a different description to the two devices and there is no sign anywhere to setup the wireless sttings on the AV500.
I have tried other things to access the devices web interface but without success
Can anyone help please
Thanks

Hello @BairdCNC
Thank you for your feedback, some local website may not update the tpPLC Utility yet, here is a newer tpPLC Utility that improve the compatibility with old model/old versions.

@kgee20 I found the answer to out problems in another question about missing woreless settigns in the tpPLC utilty...
Basically the tpPLC utility doesn;t support the older WPA4220 V1.0 units, but you can configure the wireless settings via the web-brouser...
First connect the WPA to the internet via the tpPLC untiltiy, then connect your laptop to the WPA wirelessly using the default SSID & password as shown bellow. Then the http://tplinkplclogin.net worked for me :-)
I hope this works for you

Hi,Thank you for your patience.
Sorry for the delay.
For your case, can I have some screen-shots that the latest version utility, as well as the mobile APP, lacked the option to access the web interface and rename the device?
Thanks very much and wait for your reply.
