Model: Archer AX1500
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Lastest

Problem occurs on any router from the AX series.

You can't set guest bandwidth limits or for a specific device, these should not as of yet be used on any more complex network (such as a business) until TP-Link (an awesome company) resolves these issues.

The idea is as follows, if you want to limit the bandwitdh for your guest wireless network for instance or a specific router, you will be unable.

Currently you can only set QOS control which enables you to set the limit on your WHOLE router/network which is useless if you have for instance a company computer that requires 100/100 mbps and you to limit the network for 2/2mbps for guests.  Someone might say there is packet prioritizing, this feature is mostly useless and will not provide true bandwidth control even if it worked (but it doesnt).

Summary -

The routers dont have bandwidth control (they used to but they have removed it), QOS doesn't work and should be reverted. This issue should take priority over all others as many, many customers have this need, even in a simple home setting when you don't want your network lagging because a child is live-streaming a game or watching netflix.

Currently, there are not any plans to eventually have a bandwidth control feature. This will be forwarded as a feature request to our developers for consideration. Thank you for your feedback.

i also need bandwith control feature for this model.
i bought this router for the guest network, so i can control their bandwith, but sadly it doesn't have.

if they don have plans on putting that feature, then i guess i have to replace this router.

@Solla-topee

Developers need to do it as soon as possible, or you will lose more and more clients.
For example now our organisation wanted to buy multiple TP-Link routers, but we found out that this function is non existant. Because of it we will have to buy asus or etc routers...

Came here to say the same. About to return this router since it's disappointing that this functionality is not already baked in.

I also need this feature, I can't imagine what goes through developers' minds to remove a feature like this. I bought the AX3000 (AX50) and I'm very disappointed.

Yo tambien me desepcione mucho por esa falta en la funcionalidad de Qos, tenia un asus de menor calidad que el router tplink que tengo ahora pero tiene un peor software que un router asus de gama baja
