My DSL connection is constantly dropping. Normally reconnecting after a minute. It dropped for 5 minutes this evening, in the end I unplugged and replugged the DSL cable and the connection re-established. My question is if restarting the router or replugging fixes the issue then does this mean it's a router issue or could it still be an external open reach problem? What is actually happening when restarting or replugging a modem connection?
