I happen to have the master of TP-LINK TL-PA8010P AV1300 Gigabit Powerline Startset.

 

  1. Can I only buy 1 slave only (they come in pairs I 'm afraid)? Amazon pointed me to this page without any reply to my questions, and mediamarkt didn't reply at all.
  2. With what other slaves can I combine it with? E.g. with TP-LINK TP-LINK TL-PA8033P?

All the TP-Link powerline adapters are compatible with each other, while you buy the TL-PA8010P as the starter kit, then the 8 series will be recommended.

Meanwhile, cause the powerline adapters are sold as a kit usually, few of them are available as a single one, like the TL-WPA8630P, you need to check if you can find a single unit in the local market.
