Hi,

I have just updated to Windows 10 (2004) and now my device no longer connects to 5GHz wifi network. 2.4GHz are unaffected. I have spoken to support live chat and they suggested uninstalling the latest tp link driver (from 2018), and reinstall it in safe mode. This has been done but obviously didn't make any difference.

Anyone else having a similar issue still? I saw some posts from other users that a recent windows update also caused issues for them.

Current driver version: 1030.22.202.2018

Hi @Kathy_Z

I have tried disabling the 2.4GHz network, and change the 5GHz to channel 40. It can still only see the network but not connect to it.

What system info would you like?

Windows 10 pro

Build: 10.0.19041

FM2A88M Extreme+ motherboard, plugged into USB 3 port.

TP link firmware version as in the first post.

Current speedtest.net results on PC with T3U dongle...1.52Mbps download, and 45.44Mbps upload, ping 18ms

Current speedtest.net results on the laptop sat next to the PC (using it's inbuilt wireless)...225Mbps download, 49Mbps upload, ping 16ms
