Model: TL-PA4010 KIT  
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.3.1.2141-00_401193_160717_901

On the support page for the PA4010 V3 there is no firmware to download, but having seen from other forum post (https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/178986) there is a _171025_901 firmware.

 

Basically, at the moment, it appears to be my powerline adapters throttling my internet speed. Wireless on my phone to my router - 70Mbps DL, wired on my laptop through powerline - 15Mbps DL; in fact, via my powerline adapter, I've seen my DL at 12 and UL at 16! WTF IS UP WITH THAT?! 

 

Wondering if firmware may be causing an issue - all the wiring in the house is new, engineer checked all BT lines and it is down to where the connection is going through the powerlines.

I could not find the TL-PA4010KIT(EU)_V3_ 171025_901 either, only the US version 171219;

If you don’t mind, please help us check the following information:

  1. How long have you had the TL-PA4010KIT?
  2. May I know where are you located?
  3. Have you ever downloaded the power-line utility and  checked the power-line rate between the adapters, such as : https://static.tp-link.com/2018/201809/20180904/PowerLineUtility_Win_180816.zip
  4. If possible, please also try to reset the adapters by press the pair button for 15s then pair it again;
