Solution Manual Band Selection for 4G WiFi Routers
If you have experienced an issue of disconnecting or slowness on the 4G Wi-Fi router’s network due to the auto band selection, Please download and install the following beta firmware on the router to manually fix the band.
Please be sure you have read The Beta Test Agreement before proceeding!

Note: For MR600 v1/v2, Please note that not all combinations of the 4G bands are supported in 4G+ mode. Only when the router and the SIM card support the same combinations of 4G band in 4G+ mode, the bands might be aggregated successfully.
Besides from the beta firmware, it is also planned to release the official firmware for Band selection. Keep an eye on the official website or router web GUI for the new updates.

@Kevin_Z Can I use this firmware given above to upgrade my Archer mr200 v5? I upgraded once from tp-link official website but there's no band locking option even after I upgraded it, plz reply

mr600 v2 cant lock a band it will automatically chnage between the two band you choose.
thr are times times that the band 1,3 sre being used it was great the download speed was very good , then after an hour it will automatically change to band 1 only and the download speed was very slow.
thr are also a time it used band 3 only. thn repeat
all i want is to lock it to band 1,3 i dont care if it the connection were strong or weak/ slow or fast/ have or don't have.
you can choose band but it will not lock the band you choose.
