Hi, I have installed beta firmware (TL-MR150 (EU) v2_1.1.0_0.9.1_ [200930-rel56894] _up_boot_all_2020-09-30_15.53.06.zip) on TL-MR150 (EU) V2. When the range is 7, the router cannot connect to the network. On the old default firmware, I see that the router works on the 7 band without any problems. What's wrong?

Hi, thanks for asking. To be honest, we TP-Link as the manufacture don't provide refund for the devices sold in the market, you will need to check if you can do this with the local reseller where you purchased it.

When you choose band 7 on the MR150, is it showing connecting or disconnect on the Status page? Can you please show us the screenshot?

What if you just leave it auto or choose some other bands, will it connect?

Who is your SIM card carrier?

@Kevin_Z

On the band 7 the router does not connect. No connection. Everything works on the auto band range. The picture has not been saved, so for now I have to roll back to the old firmware. Mobile operator Beeline.

Thank you for the screenshots. So band 7 is an option, while it will not connect to the internet once switch it manually.

Just to confirm, have you tried to roll back to the previous official firmware on the MR150, is it able to connect at band 7 now?

To locate this issue and try to fix it, we would like to follow up on your case via email. Please check your inbox and provide the information that we need.

@Kevin_Z  I have Archer MR600(EU)_V1_190412 and would like to try the Band Selection Beta 201204-rel66940.  But I also have the SMS messages not showing issue in thread https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/170892 where the solution is another Beta 200331-rel65841  My question is ... does the Band Selection Beta firmware rel66940 include the fix for the SMS messages?   If not, are these likely to be rolled-up in an official release anytime soon?

Hi, thanks for asking.

The beta firmware for band selection does include the sms display fix, so you can install it on the MR600 to confirm:
