Hi, 

 

I recently bought this kit to help extend WiFi out to my outhouse at the bottom of my garden. Currently I have both parts inside my house and all the lights on both are green, bar the Ethernet cable on the extender. However whenever I connect to the normal or the 5ghz network it will not load anything.

 

Any help would be great as I am trying to get this working for Xmas!

@SohoSal just a correction on my last post. There is internet connection from both of the networks now however it doesn't seem like the strength is strong enough to reach to my outhouse. My garden isn't huge, is there any suggestions on how to get connection down there as when I play the adaptor into a socket out there the powerline goes red so I assume it isn't on same power circuit or signal is too weak, which is why I have to have the extender inside my house instead!

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Please try to change the wireless channel to have a look:

1.please log into the TL-WPA7510 via http://tplinkplc.net ;

2.then to go to wireless>wireless settings to change the channels;

Normally channel 11 for 2.4ghz, channel 40 for 5ghz

By the way, how far away between the two adapters?

And is there a different power socket to have a test？

@TP-Link i am going to try channel 11 as my av600 is 2.4ghz and been having a similar issue although my av600 is on the same power line and is only up the stairs from both the router and the main connecter that connects to the router

@jayreese Hi

Changing channel works for the case that   wired is stable only WiFi unstable case.
