Hi, do you mean your MR600 V1 doesn't detect the Smarty SIM card but still detect other SIM cards?

Please test the Smarty SIM on other 4G devices to see if it still works, if possible, please try a different Smarty SIM to see if it can be detected by MR600.

Also make sure the SIM card is inserted properly: How do I install a SIM card for my 4G Wi-Fi router or Mobile Wi-Fi?

I used 3G before, it worked. After updating the device's firmware to the latest on the website(TL-MR6400(EU)_V5.30_1.5.0 Build 221121), the router does not connect to 3G. Error 1. Maybe it's a coincidence. I tried custom firmwares, other SIM cards - the result is the same. Now firmware is TL-MR6400(APAC)_V5.30_220506.

LTE mode works perfectly.

- The SIM card carrier: - Ucom, MTS (Armenia)

- Would there be any damage to the Micro SIM Card Slot before, such as the SIM card being stuck in and not able to be taken out? - No

- How long have you had the device, and when did this issue start? - From August 2023. Issues started from September.

- Was there any firmware upgrade before no sim card was detected? - Yes. See above.

Hi, please verify the version of your MR6400 on the device label to see if it is EU or APAC version.

Besides, since LTE works fine, may I know why you have to use 3G? and if you insert the same SIM card into other 4G device or even smartphone at same location, will 3G still work fine?

And did you ever try factory reset the MR6400 by holding reset button for about 10s?

@TP-Link Hi, Sorry just catching up with this. I actually handed back the router for a refund as all the advice I got did not lead to any resolution of the issue. I'm just interested to know if TP Link & Smarty have resolved this? Dom.

TL-MR6400(APAC) Ver.5.30

The 4G signal is very weak, but 3G provides more speed than 4G with low signal level. Yes, when I insert the SIM card into another device, there is a 3G signal.

And did you ever try factory reset the MR6400 by holding reset button for about 10s?

Yes I tried, but it doesn't help.
