Deco P9 with Netgear PLP1000
I purchased the Deco P9 kit hoping it would be able to work with two existing Netgear PLP1000 powerline adapters I have in the home. I know that the Deco uses the same connection standards that the Netgear adapters use.
Does anyone know how I persuade the Deco P(s to notice and connect the Netgear PLP1000s?
I found this blog post: https://ethanthompson.org/blog/connect-tp-link-and-netgear-powerline-network-adapters
But this is regarding TP-Link powerline adapters, not Deco.

Hi, do you want to connect two Netgear PLP1000 with the two Deco P9s as follows?
modem ---- main Deco P9---- Netgear PLP1000~~~Netgear PLP1000 ---- satellite Deco
If that's the case, the answer is yes, you should be able to do that, however, Deco P9 may not be able to build up the Powerline/PLC backhaul with the Netgear PLP1000, you can also refer to the FAQ below:

@TP-Link thanks for your reply. I only need to string a Deco and two Netgear's together, not have the satellite at the end, each Deco is ok connecting to the other Deco.
I can't see how it's possible as the Netgears simply don't pick up the Deco. Is there any advice anywhere about how to achieve it?

What is the detailed network layout that you want to connect the Deco and the Netgear PLP1000? Is it like below?
modem ---- Netgear PLP1000~~~Netgear PLP1000----Deco P9
If this is the layout that you want to use, please check and ensure you have internet access by connecting a PC directly to the second Netgear PLP1000, then the Deco P9 should generate the internet access from it. If you need to do some special configuration on the PC by connecting in that way, please provide details, then we will know how to proceed.

Close, it's Modem --> Deco --> Netgear PLP1000 --> Netgear PLP1000
So, there are three Decos forming a mesh network around the house, the PLP1000s are simply allowing a TV and Playstation to use the ethernet network over powerline. The first PLP1000 is attached to the main Deco with an ethernet cable.
I hope this is helpful?
Thanks.

Hi, based on the setup: Modem --> Deco --> Netgear PLP1000 --> Netgear PLP1000;
The Netgear powerline should be able to get internet service from the Deco P9, so can you get internet service from the Netgear powerline?
If not, what did you mean exactly that ‘’Netgears simply don't pick up, the Deco’’?
Considering that Deco has WAN/LAN auto-sensing, would you mind connecting the Netgear to one of the Ethernet ports from satellite Deco?
