@cooking

Can you confirm what do you mean by full reset? Thank you.

When the speed gets stuck at 100Mbps, how about the negotiation speed displayed on the router web GUI? Are all ports still displaying 1000Mbps negotiation speed?

@makuribu

I had the same problem. I Tested many things but nothing worked.

sometimes such issues occur due to some software error. Resetting the router to its default state always works for me. I found this tp-link router reset guide on Google. You can also follow some others, there are various guides available for it. .

Hello, i have the same problem.

I tried 3 different cables (6a) and nothing is helping. My WAN port is locked on 100Mbps:

I tried to change negotiation speed setting, but when i set it 1000 instead of Auto negotiation it can't find any internet connection (i tried to reset my router, but it silk can't find internet connection, so i setted it back to Auto Negotiation):

My router is AX1500 and i think everything was fine with it for last months.

I tried to reset it multiple times, change cables but speed is locked at 100Mbps. When i connect my laptop directly to modem speed is higher than 300Mbps.

Firmware Version:

1.2.5 Build 20220117 Rel. 51891(4555)

Any other ideas what can i do?

Hello @Daisuke93, can I have the model of the modem you are using with the AX1500? BTW, what is the model and hardware version printed on the router bottom sticker? Is it AX1500 or AX10?

  @Kevin_Z I'm having the same problem , with Archer C80. ITS NOT THE CABLES... I reboot, disconnect/reconnect the ethernet, gets 1000mb, then after a few mintutes its back to 100mb... Can be solved by a hand of god later, and return after a couple of days.
