I bought the TL-WPA4220 KIT in Amazon in December 2018 and the wifi unit has stopped working properly for a couple of weeks now. It makes a high pitch noise continuously and the wifi signal keeps dropping.

I searched the community and found 2 similar threads:

It seems that the wifi unit is broken. In Amazon the support period has expired, but since the product has 3 year warranty I'm contacting you to see how can I get a replacement for this unit.

Please try a different wall outlet for AV600, if still the same issue it could be faulty, you could contact our local support to check warranty from here :

@Solla-topee thanks for your reply, I have tried different sockets with the same result, the noise is there. I'll contact support to see whether i can have a replacement for the faulty unit.

@JosepCusido I have the same problem too. The solution is do not buy TPLINK products. Yes, they are cheap but they are also very poor. And the support is even worst.

Anyway, I solved it changing the capacitor 470uf 16v
