  @JanRekenaar

Hi, I also say it a lot in daily life:).

And back to the issue you are experiencing, I saw similar feedback today, also on iPhones:

https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/584438

So I believe your issue might be the same: after disconnecting from WiFi, It would not reconnect again automatically.

May I know the IOS version of your device, like IOS16?

Would it help to turn off the lower power mode and private address on iPhone?

And if you manually choose Deco in the available networks, will it be able to reconnect?

I used to test on my iPhone as well and once I enabled the WiFi, It will be connected to the available Deco network directly.

By the way, is the iPhone 13 pro the only device you have that had this issue?

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

 @David-TP I might have laughed to early, as we say in The Netherlands. Since 1.6.0 (and got worse with 1.6.1) one device (iPhone 13 pro) doesn't get an IP-adres from DHCP server (Deco in router mode).

it ususally is a problem when I switch of AirPlane mode in the morning. My phone stays on 5G instead of WiFi.

this is in the log :

udhcpd[9223]: fscanf_num:3 device_mac:Xxxxxxxxxxxx device_ip:192.168.68.107 device_hostname:UNKNOWN

Sat Oct 8 07:44:21 2022 daemon.err udhcpd[9223]: Received DISCOVER

Sat Oct 8 07:44:21 2022 daemon.err udhcpd[9223]: find_free_or_expired_nip

Sat Oct 8 07:44:21 2022 daemon.err udhcpd[9223]: find a new ip: 192.168.68.109, ready to arp check

Sat Oct 8 07:44:21 2022 daemon.err udhcpd[9223]: send arp packet:192.168.68.109

Sat Oct 8 07:44:22 2022 daemon.err udhcpd[9223]: checked a timeout node!

which to me seems that the Deco is trying several local IP-adresses to make the iPhone obtain an IP. Which is not working.

any ideas?

Regards.

  @Billmanakos

Finally 1.6.1 . A working firmware without bugs ... at least for my setup .

2 Deco M5, 2 Deco M4, 2 Powerlines  8010p.

Three weeks without a single issue.

 @David-TP  I installed 1.6.1 on my 3 Deco M5. It has not fixed the clientlist bug. Clients appear offline, while they are online. I rebooted all deco's after installation of 1.6.1 and the problem is still there.

  After update to 1.6.1 on my Deco m5 still got disconnects. Other than that on my Samsung s22 mobile phone got warning that devise is connected only to mobile internet, but it was connected to Wi-Fi at the same time. Downgraded 2 of my Deco m5 to 1.5.7, will wait for a better release. Only the first beta firmware from 2021 was without issues on my devices.
