@David-TP I can record it. To which e-mail can I send it?

The problem is when it happens the tab Smart is not available so I can not add smart devices. If I reboot the smart tab appears again with all connected smart devices.
I will try and record when it happens again.

Hello
I installed firmware 1.6.0. So far so good, the sattelite source selection and device/client source connection are great additions we were waiting for since years! Good job!
However these features are still buggy.
1) the device/client source conection doesnt work for devices connected on the guest network, as stated. But why? Many of us connect all IoT device to the Guest network for security reasons, it would be great of we could assign them which Deco they can be connected to as for the rest on the main network.
2) as mentionned by many users on this thread, the feature is still useless as for today. For example I assign my phone to only connect on the 5ghz, but it still connects randomly on rhe 2.4ghz

@Billmanakos JanRekenaar is it possible to record a video clip of the web UI log-in process for me?
(I have provided my email address for you and you could also send the video clip via email to me,)
If possible, please also try to test on a different web browser and log in under incognito mode to have a look.
Have you tried to re-add these smart devices to Deco APP to see whether it made any difference: click the "+" icon on the top left then choose "smart devices".
Thank you very much.

1. Yes twice. The admin page didn't failed to load, the page was loading but there was problem signing in ( stuck on authentication). Ping was working.
2. 2* HS110, 2*LB130, 2*P100. Deco app was not showing smart device tab at all. Tapo app and Kasa was showing the devices correctly .
3. I was transferring files from my remote VPN Site , not locally. Mesh was disabled but didn't changed anything. As I wrote before using cable on a satellite deco and transferring files from my remote VPN site was working as expecting , connecting to the same satellite deco wireless, transferring files from my remote VPN site drops to 355Kbps - 2Mbps ( with cable was 4Mbps - 9Mbps ). Wireless test was made next to the satellite deco, with 802.11ac 866Mhz.
I've tested with the first version 1.6.0 but had too many issues that I had to revert back to 1.5.7 ( followed your unbrick solution using tftp ).

@David-TP That url you suggest doesn't work either. I cán login with my TP-Link account on https://www.tplinkcloud.com/admin.php and I can login with my TP-Link ID in the Deco App for my Deco M5.
But when I copy and paste the password in the webinterface of the router (Deco M5) I cannot login. When I type in the password manually I cannot login.
The router is pingable. (Reply from 192.168.68.1)

@JanRekenaar thank you for the update.
I test it just now and could log into web UI on both 1.5.7 and the latest beta 1.6.0.
If the IP address did not work, would the domain name help-http://tplinkdeco.net?
By the way, are you able to ping the IP address and domain name?

Thank you very much for your feedback.
Have you tested the previous versions of 1.6.0? is it only the third version-0307 that had the following issues?
At the same time, could you please help me check the following information:
1. The admin page ( 192.168.68.1 ) does not allow logins after 2-3 days, restarting Deco makes the login page work again.
Were you able to reproduce the same issue most of the time?
And when the admin page failed to load, would there be any error message and are you still able to ping the IP and domain name---192.168.68.1/tplinkdeco.net?
2. Smart Devices are not available after 2-3 days, restarting Deco makes the smart devices available again.
May I know the model numbers of these smart home devices?
Can I have more details about what you meant "smart devices are not available", like offline from their controlled APPs?
3. VPN Connections through Wifi are laggish, connecting through WiFi with 802.11ac > 500Mbps and with internet speed 100/10 filetransfer goes from 355kbps to 2Mbps maximum. Connecting same device using Ethernet cable to any satellite Deco (Satellite Decos are connected Wireless with the main Deco) filetransfer goes from 4Mbps to 9Mbps.
Do you transfer files via VPN connection or within the local network?
Have you tried to turn off "Mesh Technology" on the wireless clients for filetransfer?
