- Wi-Fi Dead-zone Killer—Deco uses a system of units to achieve a whole-home Wi-Fi coverage, Eliminating weak signal areas once and for all
- Seamless Experience—units work together to form a unified network with a single network name, so phones automatically connect to the fastest Deco as your moving, creating a real seamless Wi-Fi experience.
Hi, did you have any issues with the above statement?

HI, I would like to follow up on your case by email and please check whether you could get an email from us.
At the same time, could you please send me some screenshots that,
On the Deco APP, The signal source has been changed to the nearest Deco, while on the web UI map, they are still connected to the main Deco.
Please also go to Deco APP>overview>three lines on the top>help>contact us>suggestions and add APP system log.
By the way, I see there are several M5 and M9 plus under your TP-Link ID and are they all in the same Mesh network?
Thank you very much.

@TP-Link I just update the 1.6.0 firmware without any issue in the installation process; the only issue is assigning deco connection from devices, it doesn't work. For multiple devices I set the closest deco but they end-up connecting to another one.

I have the same issue as well. The update doesn't break my setup, but also doesn't add any of the new features it seems, at least it for now doesn't respect the changes.
I wonder why no 1.6.1 etc have been released for follow up tests with bug fixes with all the people that have contributed with great info here for long time! Especially when you ask people to test your firmware. Also can it really be that it's still not possible to limit devices from going out on internet, but internal network only!? Like for all the IoT in the home. I think the firmware is getting (slowly) to a state where the Deco can compete with others. But the lack of new features like being able to separate into several SSID's / Vlan's / subnets holds me back from buying the deco x90's to replace all my M5's.
