- Apply to US/EU/JP/AU/CA/TW/ID/UK/SW/EU/B4 versions.
- 1.6.1 firmware will be gradually released to different areas and if currently it could not be detected on the Deco APP, you could wait for a while or a firmware upgrade via web UI is recommended.
Improvements:
1. Optimized the Monthly Reports.
2. Improved system reliability.
Bug fixed:
1. Fixed the bug that clients won't be able to obtain IP addresses randomly.
2. Fixed the bug that insight/time limit of parental control won't reset the next day.
3. Fixed the bug that No-IP DDNS doesn't take effect under PPPoE connection.
4. Fixed the bug that the client list randomly does not show any client or recognizes satellite Deco as a client.

1. Added Reboot Schedule for every day/week under Deco App > More > Reboot Schedule.
2. Added support for customizing Satellite Deco signal source under Deco App > Internet > Select the Satellite Deco > Signal Source.
3. Added support for customizing clients connection preference under Deco App > CLIENTS > Select the client > Click the gear icon on the right-up corner > Connection Preference.
4. Added No-IP and DynDNS to the DDNS settings under Deco App > More > Advanced > DDNS
5. Added Smart DHCP on/off switch in Access Point mode under Deco App > More > Advanced > Smart DHCP
6. Added a prompt when the Ethernet link rate goes down to 100Mbps.
7. Added schedule and bandwidth limit to guest network under Deco App > More > Wi-Fi > Guest Network.
8. When configuring Deco for the first time, you can choose to establish an IPv6 connection directly.

This beta program is pure bs... a big waste of time for the customer. I'm officially retiring my Deco M5 units. Lookin for a better mesh alternative.

Just updated my 4 clients to Beta 1.6.0 but the one connected wired via my TP Link switch is nog only connecting wireless to the main Deco.
whatever I tried, it won't see the wired connection.

@Matthijs88 please please dont update to 1.6.0
It is rubbish, dont work with device steering so you be stuck unable to downgrade.
I have had so many issues but unable to downgrade to a stable FW

I have forwarded your case to the engineers before # TKID210826738 but you have not given us feedback yet.
I am afraid it’s unfair to conclude the firmware is rubbish without anything being done.
If you are still troubled by the current issue, we will be appreciated if you could give us an update.

1. A picture of the detailed network topology, such as how the Decos are linked together?
2. the model number of your TP-Link switch.
3. Will it be the same if putting another satellite unit to this spot and will it be able to create the Ethernet backhaul?
