Hi,
Updated firmware of my M5 to version 1.60 an hour ago and now it's just a red light for me. Even created a new network but still the same. Nothing works now. Would really need help on this as my work is affected.

Any news on when a firmware for the P7 will be released including these features?
When I look at my P7's in the app, Signal Source now says 'Unavailable for current firmware'.

@Raijos Thanks for the feedback.
Have you tried JanRekenaar' suggestions already? Since when I checked your TP-Link ID, I see Deco M5 is online already and I guess you have fixed this issue on your own?
Best regards.
Dave_BugOne Welcome to the community.
Since Deco P7 has been end of life for quite a while, I haven't got any news about whether it is planned to add the same features on it.
Best regards.

@David-TP I have a mesh network using M9+ as main and satellite and an M5 as a satellite.
System wants to update M5 to 1.6.0. Shouldn't I wait for M9+ to get 1.6.0 and upgrade all 3 together so they all interoperate together?
It's odd to see posts regarding 1.6.0 for what looks like a few years and nothing about 1.6.0, as far as I can see for any other models.
I wish these mesh networks would have a solution for Apple Devices using different MAC addresses for privacy. The way I think it should work is new MACs get placed into a default profile that I can set the restrictions on, think of as Jail, where you can't do much other than configure the device. You can then move the device to another profile with more access than Jail, if you choose. Apple Users should set the feature on your mesh SSID network to not change MAC addresses for privacy. If they don't do this, their new private MAC will just go to Jail and they'll be annoyed. So they'll have a reason for turning MAC privacy off on your network or they'll just get the very restricted Jail access. Right now the MAC privacy breaks the kids out of their profile into untracked and unmetered access.
While I'm suggesting things:
You should have an option to sort devices by how much bandwidth they are currently using.
You should also have a feature where I can set a profile to monitor access to categories I can only block in profiles. I want the option to monitor without tipping off that I'm watching. Blocking makes them go somewhere else. I want to know what they are accessing and how often. There's no way to do that with the current system. The UI would just be a choice to block or monitor that category.

@SwingBoy seeing as this update to the M5s has pretty much nerfed my P7's - I'd say yes. Avoid updating.

My mesh network is two M9+ and two M5. M5s are satellites. I upgraded my M5s to 1.6.0 when I got notification in Deco app. I have not noticed any difference in how my home network and WiFi devices behave before and after M5 firmware upgrade.
With your and mine Deco mesh configuration, the only obvious benefit of new firmware is ability to select Signal Source in M5. If your Satellite Deco M5 already connects the way you want it to, or if it is wired, this firmware upgrade won't bring any obvious benefits.

TPLINK, Please have the firmware update (similar to M5) for M9+ available on DECO App. Why is it taking so long?

Any news for firmware upgrade 1.6 of M5 coming to M9+ users. It seems only M5 users are given priority for over a year now. We M9+ users have not been able control which mesh & device connects to what.
