Hi, I have seen a similar setup:
Modem > M5 (Main) >--cable--CPE210(AP mode))))---WiFi bridge---(((CPE210 (client mode)>---cable--- M5 (Satellite)
Then satellite M5 is ok to create an Ethernet Backhaul.
So I think you might need a pair of CPE210s to build a wireless bridge in order to create the Ethernet Backhaul.
Thank you very much.
best regards.

Good to know! I actually did purchase a pair of CPE210 for this project but I thought since the other building was only about 100 ft away max having two setup was overkill. Next time I'm at this location I'll bring the other one and try it out. Thanks!

@CenterInYou why don't you connect a laptop to the satellite Deco ethernet port via FTP cable and run a speed test on the laptop/PC? Keep in mind that whatever you do, a satellite Deco will be limited by the connectivity to the main Deco since a speed test will pass through it. If you would like to test a satellite, promote the satellite to main and test it directly.

@Parushev Yes this route would totally work but it is added a few extra steps epically if you plan to do more than just once.
Over the years I've found the that being able to run a speed test from the main Deco really useful when troubleshooting internet issues. I think this and people trying to find the best balance of speed and coverage while finding the placement for their satellite makes sense to add this feature.

@TP-Link Could you explain more about:
1. Optimized loT control experience.
4. Optimized the WAN-LAN auto-sensing function.
What are "loT" and "WAN-LAN auto-sensing"?
First time I read these terms...
For "WAN-LAN auto-sensing" I supose it is the automatic detection of which ethernet port is the WAN?
EDIT: nice to see there are also other new features which are not part of the changelog, for example devices to be isolated from the network.
