I have on old TP-Link LB110 which works fine with Home Assistant, so just purchased an L530B and I cant connect.

Has anything changed? I need HA to be able to control this lamp.

Hello @BrianCM

TP-Link does not officially support an integration with Home Assistant, for this reason some features may not work properly.

I found an integration list on Home Assistant forum and Tapo bulb seems not being tested by HA team yet. You may have a further look on Home Assistant forum for more assistance, thank you for your understanding.

@Solla-topee

Hi with over 105,000 installatiions of Home Assistant maybe you should communicate with them t get the Tapo lamps added, I am sure you must be missing out on a lot of sales.

I really like TP-Link products, but I do need to be able to control the lamp via Home Assistant.

I suppose I will have to return the lamp, shame

Regards, Brian

Hello @BrianCM

Thank you for your suggestion. I'm afraid Home assistant integration would be maintained by Home Assistant team so far ,as I did not see a plan for this integration officially.

You may probably try the smart devices tested by HA by the above link,  at least that has been tested by one side.
