When no smartphone is available, the router cannot be configured. I will not be purchasing another Deco in the future unless this is rectified.

  @TP-Link
Absolute con that better web admin functionality isn't included. I came here from your Archer range, and frankly expected a lot better. Really don't want to have to return this gear (X75E Pro), but I'm not seeing a lot of choice here with how bad the admin support is!

  @DoinitSideways you are 1000% correct; I sold/returned ALL my TpLink/Deco sewage, got every one of my friends and family members to do the same, these idiots dont care what their customers think, do, ask for, none of that..

I guess Communist Chinese Companies dont give a sheet what their customers think, either take our sheet the way we sell it, or go away

many of us choose to go away, and more do every day..

Vote with your wallet, return their junk, spread the word about how they dont care at all about their customers, and hopefully, they go out of business

  @DoinitSideways Yup, that is what I did, returned it and bought a different brand. I used to use TPLink almost exclusively for my networking needs (I run an IT company), now I have switched all of it to a different brand. I doubt my switch will bother them at all, but at least I have fewer headaches now and that is what is the most important to me.

Just had my first Deco experience yesterday. I like that the app is very capable. I very much dislike that the web interface is useless.

This should be an EASY fix; if you can do it in an app, you can do it in a web interface. Please fix it!

  @TP-Link  Purchased 4 Deco XE75 units.  Really love them, HOWEVER, there needs to be a WEB interface.  If I had known one wasn't available I would have kept my Linksys and Orbi setup.  Being stuck with an app only option is ridiculous.  It is much more efficient to navigate router settings on a computer screen rather than on my Android. Fix this or you'll be losing another customer.

This is basic functionality that should have been offered since day one.

  @TP-Link

Yeah, the fact that the router becomes useless if the app is depreciated is a no-go. Just in the process of repacking the unit to return to the store.
