Thanks for the feedback.
I checked both of your feedback and not sure whether it is a coincidence that all the devices mentioned here are Samsung phones.
Turning off "Mesh Technology" is just for testing to narrow down the suspected points.
And on the 1.6.0, it allows to customize the connected Deco and Wi-Fi bands and would it help to manually choose the connection preference for Samsung S22.
Thank you very much.

I disabled the "Fast Roaming" option and it looks like to disconnections are highly reduced. So, it is indeed related to this option.
Besides that, it is indeed a Samsung phone, but this issue wasn't there before I upgraded to 1.6.0.
By the way, a phone doesn't need to be tweaked for Deco's or network bands, since I'm roaming freely in my home, with my phone. This option is good for older, fixed devices.

Hi, as far as I know, Deco M9 1.6.0 does not make changes to fast roaming feature.
How about only turning off the "Mesh Technology" on the Galaxy S22, instead of turning off "fast roaming" on the whole mesh?

Hi David,
I know how to configure this, but hey, isn't fast roaming useful for roaming devices, like mobile phones? My fixed devices (speakers, plugs,...) don't roam at all, only phones. So, still the same: disable a feature because it doesn't work.
I prefer having it working, like it worked in version 1.5.6.
I think it is related to "Preferred connection" feature that is to slow (evaluating if the connection is as configured) and since the phone doesn't get immediate response, drops connection and reconnects to another node or band.
But trust me, this issue is related to the Deco upgrade and has nothing to do with my Samsung S22 Ultra.

Thank you David for opening a ticket for me. I'll get in touch with your team support. This frequent disconnect/reconnects started in 1.6 upgrade. For me, it is more frequent when I refresh the DECO app.
I turned off mesh technology as suggested by support per device. I'll continue to observe. Just worried that mobiles will not seamlessly transfer when turned off.

When will we have the firmware available to everyone, do you have a release date? I would not like to install the beta version, because I use my network to work remotely.

@Dumke Maybe in a month or two or a little longer. That's what it took with the M5

Thanks.
I think that for a future version, it could improve the functions of parental control, blocking links or ips after a certain time, improve the access report, leaving more data, so that you can see more of what you have been accessing. I have an adolescent son and sometimes he complains that as he is going to study if the internet is blocked, I wish we had a solution to release only some access at certain times, because installing software on the computer to manage it is not possible, he format the computer.

I installed the latest beta available for my units (3-pack) , when I choose 2.4GHz only for a certain device it just can't connect to the network anymore, 5GHz only works fine, I also tried to forget the network for the devices I tested this on. Please open a ticket and I'll send the full details about which devices are effected by this if needed through the email. + Is it possible to add a Bandwidth limit option for each individual device?

Hi @David-TP,
After a week of experimenting with global "Fast roaming" and individual tweaking, it's a no go for me.
The benefits of selecting preferred connection sources are way less than the stability of the connection when walking through my property.
I've been using the same router setup (6 x Deco M9 Plus) without big issues while using 1.5.6, but this version 1.6.0 destroys the benefits of Fast roaming.
Can you please instruct me how to go back to 1.5.6_211018?
