Thank you so much for your cooperation and efforts in helping verify the internet disconnect issue after installing the latest official 1.3.1 version. Please don't worry about the firmware security, the officially released version has passed all the strict testing procedures before release, this disconnect issue you experienced might be caused by some unknown environmental factors, and the engineering team will find it out ASAP.
I will also update the thread once this gets confirmed, please subscribe to the thread to get the most advanced update.

I also am having this issue after the firmware update.
Regarding this issue, we would like to know:
1. Is the internet connection 100% stable before this firmware update? Is updating the AX11000 firmware to 1.3.1 Build 20220721 the only change before and after the internet issue occurs?
- Internet connection was 100% stable before update
- AX11000 firmware update was the only change
2. When the internet is not available, what is the LED status on the AX11000, orange or white?
- LED turns orange
3. How often does the disconnect issue happen? several hours or minutes or days?
- The disconnect has already happened 6 times so far today (as of 9:30am)
4. Will the internet recover if you click the Release then Renew on its web GUI?
- Release and Renew recovers internet connection.

I could be wrong of course, but I strongly suspect the problem has something to do with your modem.
When I had a Technicolor (specifically the Technicolor CGA4233), I had a ton of problems with the AX11000, many seemingly without any rhyme or reason: for example, the router would reset itself every 24 hours to the second for a few days running, I would randomly lose the internet, etc.
At first, my ISP insisted on remote reboots of the modem, and, when these worked only for a while, he would reflash its firmware and so on, and so forth.
The only thing that did help, and I haven't had any problems since, was exchanging the Technicolor for an Arris.
In short - do you have the possibility of requesting a different modem from your ISP?

It's possible, I suppose. But, as I stated in my original post, my internet connection through the router had been rock-solid until I did the firmware update, so that would be my first suspect.

My tuppence worth would be to try a different modem, if only to rule it out.
Just a suggestion of course.

I am still doing to testing but I am also inclined to believe it might have something to do with the ISP modem.
In trying to get a stable connection for work etc, I connected the ISP's router and connected the AX1000 to the ISP router and to my surprise the AX11000 remained stable since..
unstable connection - ISP modem > AX11000 router - uptime ~1hr before the internet goes down.
stable connection - ISP modem > ISP router > AX11000 router - stable connection. (100mbs so a much slower speed but stable)
The problem seems to be only when the AX11000 is connected directly to the modem. Of course there are still a lot of factors to rule out but I may go the route of replacing the modem to rule this out as previously mentioned.

Gentlemen,
maybe we are talking about the same problem?
ISP modem is losing connection to the internet (even for few seconds) then ARCHER AX11000 is not automatic connecting and freezing with "POOR CONNECTION" status and orange LED?
Then after:
1. Restart of AX11000
2. Release/renew connection in menu
3. Disconnect and connect WAN cable (ISP - AX11000)
ARCHER is connecting and working

Sounds very much like the same issue altho, I haven't seen any traffic drops of errors on the modem logs.
But I ran stable all through the weekend connect ISP to router to router and the AX11000 has remained stable in this configuration since Friday and into the business day today.
I am awaiting a router replacement from TelMax (runs on Rogers network) and once I have that configured I will keep you all posted on any success.
