  @AlbertGM This is the biggest problem with TP-Link devices, they will release V1 then a few months later they release V1.2 which is different specs to V1. It's like if you get V1 units, you are being a guinea pig and doing the testing for them, but you'll never get all the updates or later support as they've moved on to a newer version of the system.

I've has this with quite a lot of my older TP-Link routers. It also the same even if on V1 where I've found that UK users don't get all the updates seen for other countries.

Well that really sucks, to be honest. What kind of company does such practices? Releasing 1 model with multiple hardware version specs... and only giving support to some of them? This is incredible. I'm starting to think to return my current unit and try a different brand. I had many expectations about tp-link because I remember as a kid all my ISP providers always had used to give us a tp link router, so I thought it was going to be a good brand, but it's not the case. By the way, what's the difference between V1.0 & V1.2? There's still no info about that.

  @mirdragon same problem here with an access point TL-WA1201 V2. some bugs never fixed, while V3 is receiving some updates. maybe i have to push into that a famous third party firmware...

  @David-TP I've just installed this firmware. So far it's working great. I only see that in the web interface the icons are off. See attached examples.

  @Arrows Thanks for the feedback.

When you said, "in the web interface the icons are off", do you mean the web UI is messily displayed and poorly organized?

Have you tried to clear the network caches and test with a different browser?

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

  @David-TP Genuine question that went unanswered. Will X50-4G get any updates?

  @David-TP Is the MTU size option available also on PPPoE? In the given screenshot it is only shown that the MTU size is available on Internet Connection Type: Dynamic IP.

  @David-TP Is there an estimation of when firmware that includes manual MTU size selection be available to other Deco models other than the X50 and X55?

I recently moved to a new ISP, and I have to change the MTU size to 1480 in order to use the internet and be able to access some websites (and also some websites load extremely slowly). Currently I have a system of 3 instances of Deco M5, and I guess I'll have to wait in frustration for an update to come, or to spend money and buy the Deco X50 or Deco X55. But as I see these models are not really available to buy right now, so it's a problem. If soon there will be another Deco model which supports manual MTU size selection, and is ready-to-buy, it would really help me a lot :)
