Official Wi-Fi Routers Support WireGuard VPN Now
VPNs have grown a great deal over the past few years, and as a result, we have seen an increase in demand for alternative VPN options on TP-Link routers. WireGuard VPN could be one of the most popular VPNs that we are seeing in the public community and forums. We are excited to announce here that we do have some router models that support or plan to support WireGuard VPN feature, and there will be more in the near future.

1. You will need to perform a firmware upgrade on your router when the official firmware is released.

For other models that are not listed above, there is currently no definitive information if WireGuard VPN would be possible or be available in the future, and we don't have any specific details that I can share around. It's suggested to keep an eye on the official website or on the router web GUI/Tether app for any new updates.

This is from MikroTik - remember about FirmWare update to 7.8 minimum:
This screenshot is from high-level M/T router.
Of course there is a lot of easier setup in TP-LINK, but life goes on and any next device in my administration will be from MikroTik.

This is so disappoiting, its been years and you guys have been teasing vpn support in archer c80. If a feature is NOT SURE TO BE RELEASED, please just dont make any it may be added scenario's. I am sure that many customers have already bought your device because the first result in google back in 2019 is that you guys are planning to add the feature..
Older hardware gets the support, why not new products.

TP-Link has proven to be a POS company.
For example, my previous router, the AC3200, NEVER received a FW update, while the unit did it's job perfectly.

I just have my AX53 router , and now i see that he is not supported for Wiregard ???!!!
I dont understand why not.
Or maby in yhe near future there will be support for this on the ax53 ?...
A other thing for updating my router it must be exactly the software for the AX53 or can it be the software for the AX50 ????? VERRY IMPORTANT...
