Another +1 here. Made an account soly for this request.

Bought a P115 just for power montioring, currently checking my desktop pc setup.

Kinda afraid that I accidentally turn of my pc, it probably wont like that to much.

1. App/Software side always on is the request on this side,

2. The button would be a nice bonus (I get that people would like this)

Hope this feature will someday be implemented

I would also like to have the switching functionality able to be totally disabled on these smart plugs.  Like others, I want to use the plugs for energy monitoring only on critical servers that must never be powered off.  Also would be useful for monitoring energy usage of fridges, clothes dryers, washing machines, ie. devices that should be normally usable without being able to be remotely switched off.  No one wants a device that could potentially turn a fridge off!   Otherwise, can you create a new product which you can plug into a power outlet that does energy monitoring only, and does not have the switching relay circuit in it at all.  That would be even better!  I would use them all over the house to get data into home assistant.  Please!
