[SOLVED] Deco X20 over TP-Link Powerline
Hello all. I recently purchased a 3-set of Deco X20 and it's absolutely awesome. However I ran into a little issue. Two of the 3-set are connected via Ethernet to the house infrastructure but I want to connect the third one in a area where Ethernet is not available. I got a set of old AC1200 powerlinesfrom TPLink but when I connect the Deco to the Ethernet port of the powerline, it does not sync the with rest of Decos, it fallsback to wifi. Are there any known incompatibility between the devices?
Thanks in advance

Hello! Thank you for your fast reply I'm using a TL-WPA8630 and a TL-PA8010P.
EDIT: This is weird. I just tested with my own Deco M4 and it works.
But since I brought the powerlines home from the intended house I've updated its firmware:
- Could firmware impact the ability to serve as a ethernet backhaul?
- Or X20 have more demanding requirements regarding ethernet than the M4?
Thanks again
