This Article Applies to:

Background:
With More and more SIM service providers gradually implementing 464XLAT mechanism in their services, after inserting the SIM card into TP-Link 4G/5G routers, some users might report that there is no internet access or certain Apps/websites can't be accessed. When checking the internet status, the router obtains an IPv6 address without an IPv4 address.
Available Solution:
The following beta versions have introduced 464XLAT support. It is suggested to install the specific version and check whether the reported issue can be fixed.
***Before downloading and updating the following beta firmware, please verify the model number and hardware version on the product label, especially the models with x.0, x.20, and x.30 versions. Please note that the x.0, x.20, and x.30 are different versions and are unable to use the same firmware.

Something that I saw while I was searching for a solution was that when the router was connected via internet there was internet connection but when it was in Wi-Fi even though the Wi-Fi was on there was no internet.

Thanks for sharing this detailed update. The explanation around 464XLAT and the availability of beta firmware is very helpful, especially for users facing IPv6-only connectivity issues on TP-Link 4G and 5G routers. I’ll check the model and hardware version carefully and test the appropriate firmware, and I’ll be sure to report back to the community with results.

I recently purchased a brand-new MR600 V2 in Australia and have encountered an issue when using a Vodafone (TPG) postpaid service.
In Australia, the MR600 is advertised as an unlocked 4G modem, and therefore should be compatible with all major Australian mobile network providers.
I have tested the device with all three major Australian network providers:
-
Telstra – working normally
-
Optus – working normally
-
Vodafone (TPG) Prepaid – working normally
-
Vodafone (TPG) Postpaid – connected to 4G, but no internet, Speed tests conducted using both a mobile phone and the MR600 router’s built-in speed test tool all failed.
-
(TPG is the parent company of Vodafone Australia)
The issue only occurs with the Vodafone (TPG) postpaid plan, where the device connects to the network but has no internet access.
I have attached several screenshots for your reference to help your team identify the root cause of the problem.
Could you please investigate this issue and, if possible, work with the Vodafone (TPG) postpaid technical team to resolve it?
Additionally, I would like to ask about the updated firmware that includes 464XLAT support on page 1 of this thread.
Could you please advise which firmware version is appropriate to flash for the Australian MR600 V2 that support 464XLAT?
Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your guidance.
