Model: Archer VR400

Hardware Version: V3

Firmware Version: 1.5.0 0.9.1 v00a1.0 Build 220321 Rel.60385n

I upgraded the firmware to the latest.

Ver 1.5.0 0.9.1 v00a1.0 Build 220321 Rel.60385n

And I it wont let me downgrade because the advanced option dissapeared from system-tools after

the firmware upgrade.

How can I downgrade as trying to upload older firmware does not work.

Pls help. I've only had the unit for 1hr.

Hi,

I think the only thing you can try in this case is to factory-reset the VR400 and hope that this restores the Advanced menu.

This can be done via a physical button on the router as per the instructions in the user manual.

Hi, Thanks for the feedback.

What "Advanced Options" are missing from the system tools and can I have a screenshot of your current UI?

As for the remote ping from the internet, you could try to enable ICMP Ping-Remote under Advanced>System Tools>Administration>ICMP Ping.
