App update to Version 216.111 causing cameras to malfunction.
I have 2 Tapo C310 security cameras which were working fine until recently.The Tapo app was updated a week ago on my android 9.0 Honor phone to version 2.16.111 and now my cameras are not working properly. I have rebooted both cameras, my phone and my router but this did not work. I uninstalled and reinstalled the new android app. I have reset both cameras and set the network up again. The cameras will only play 2 seconds of the live stream and 2 seconds of any recordings although the information on the app says the videos are considerably longer than this.
I have been in touch with Tapo TP link support. They said they have elevated it to the engineering team but have been in touch saying they hope i have had a chance to review the latest reply from the support team. I am still waiting for advice.
