  @RandyAndy This is probably my biggest complaint by far. As I said in an earlier post, I am forced to enable continuousrecording to ensure everything is recorded. There are other issues though, for example there is no way to skip backwards or forwards besides swiping the timeline which is very low resolution, essentially it's a complete waste of time since you first have to zoom in all the way (being careful not to slide left or right in the process!) and still end up going back or forward too far. A simple button skip +10/-10 seconds would fix this, I need to create a feature request for that. The other mayor annoyance is the fact that the notification sound is the same for all cameras. It would be so much better if each camera would have a different notification sound, this way I would know without having to open the app whether "the cat has entered the housee", or "there is someone at the front door". Development is very slow.

This cctv is so annoying I am getting 1second vidios which are missing everything I need to be seeing, thinking of changing this terrible and constantly unstable network cctv cam C510 outdoor to a better cam.

  @Pali-Madra The amount of time ideally would be user-defined per-camera setting. 5 seconds may work for you, but some users might require longer. My "Cat camera" doesn't need very long, I just want to know if my cat has entered the home, 5 seconds here would be fine. My front porch camera, on the other hand, benefits from recording longer, maybe 30 seconds or even 60 seconds. It doesn't matter, there shouldn't be a limit here. If the user chooses to record 5 minutes before the event, that should be possible. If two events overalp, they would just be a single event. I can't think of any technical challenges that would prevent this from being implemented.

I second that request. Those are usually the basic features that the camera should have. I have cheaper camera that has that fonction and even better what other cheaper camera has that tapo doesn't have is choosing the exact time of the recorded video for preview. I will also add another very annoying issue and I am will open a new request about it which is the person detection it doesn't make difference between a cat a butterfly and a human being it's very very annoying no matter how the sensitivity is.
