After updating the firmware on my X50 yesterday my SolarEdge inverter (SE4000H) has no connection anymore and I cannot get it to connect anymore. The inverter always had difficulties connecting when I only had 3 M5 units, but after buying a X50 it could connect to the IoT network.

I finally succeeded in connecting again by disabling almost every option. But now the connection is gone again.

Hi, 

Would there be any error message when the SolarEdge inverter couldn't connect to Deco?

Does your SolarEdge inverter support an Ethernet LAN connection?

Have you tried to enable the mobile hotspot to see whether the SolarEdge inverter could maintain a stable connection with the hotspot?

  @David-TP I did not see any error messages. I heard that my inverter supports ethernet, but I do not see a port and have to remove the cover to check. Maybe I will do that one day and connect it that way. But at the moment it is communicating again and I will leave it alone now. Difficulty is that the device is not always in my IoT network, but often in my offline clients and I don't know if it is working correctly without checking the mySolarEdge app. Thanks for trying to help
