Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.1 build 20220512 Rel 76748

I have the following config:

TP Link Router ER605 -> TP Link PoE switch ->

APs
Omada EAP615
Omada EAP225 - Outdoor
Omada EAP615
Deco X20 (AP mode)

The wifi network has the same SSID for Deco and Omada APs but it's like there is a clash wherby if a mobile device connects to the Deco it then will  not reconnect to any Omada APs without deleting the SSID credentials and re-entering (the same password).

Any thoughts on how to fix this (apart from removing the Deco AP)?

  @wogan

Hi, welcome to the community.

Did most of the mobile devices behave like this:

"if a mobile device connects to the Deco it then will  not reconnect to any Omada APs without deleting the SSID credentials and re-entering (the same password)."

If we set different SSIDs for Deco and EAP, will it connect to the SSID of EAP when it is far away from Deco?

Or are you able to manually switch the 2 SSIDs without deleting the SSID credentials and re-entering (the same password)?

Wait for your reply and best regards.
