I bought a three-unit Mercusys H1900G. They works with an Archer C80.

The mesh network works relatively well but one of the satellite , does not provide good speed  possibly due to its position .

My question is if I can do the following:

Archer C80 V1 Router. Three Mercusys H1900G units.

Obviously one of the cubes is connected by cable to a lan port of the C80 that has Wi-Fi disabled and the other two cubes are via Wi-Fi. They work well but as I said, one of them, possibly due to the distance, delivers less than a quarter the speed it should.

The idea is then to cable from one of the ports of the main cube, the one connected to the C80, to the satellite that delivers the least speed and leave the third satellite via Wi-Fi because that one works very well and iIt is not possible to wire it.

Is this possible and will I be able to improve the speed of the satellite that delivers low speed?

Thank you so much

  @Vedia

Hi

Your idea is feasible. You could wire the main cube to one of the satellite cubes.

Compared with wireless connections, wired connections are beneficial to speed improvement.
