@HpTan Happy to see you're interested in this beta firmware.

For the satellite EasyMesh routers, if you cannot upgrade their firmware via the main router's web management page, you can reset the satellite routers, and login to their web page to upgrade the firmware.

  @Kevin_Z Hi Kevin, just a quick question as I only got my BE9300 a few days ago and It's great but I do enjoy Beta testing. I see there is a BE9300 and a BE550 to download and in my router settings its say Hardware : BE550 v1.0. I thought BE550 was the architect and the BE9300 was model, or have I got this wrong.

Do I go for the exclussive BE9300 firmware? or can I use either as I see they're differant versions.

Thanks

EDIT :     I'm currently on 1.0.8 Build 20240224 ref.61914(4555)

Firmware I tried to install 1.0.5 Build 20240618 ref67925

EDIT2: I must be missing something with these beta firmwares. Installed the BE550 but it got flagged as being outdated and wanted to install the 1.0.8. Thinking there was a mistake with the firmware I let it go back to 1.0.8 but the router got stuck in a download loop and wouldn't move off 0% and couldn't navigate the menu. Great, as the potential for bricking my router is now a possability as I had to switch the power off while it was going through the update stage.Anyway managed to download the official firmware to my pc and do it from there as I could the routers menu now.

All back to normal but why was it 1.0.5 if its a beta? or is it a newer build of an older branch?

  @David6479 @Kevin_Z

Hello, I have 2x BE550v1 EU, and both routers work unstable on 1_1.0.10 Build 240618 firmware.

Also for me, that firmware shows as 1.0.5 firmware, and router alone wants to update to official firmwares and after stuck on 0%.
That cost ustaliliby to router probably. Becouse My 2x BE550v1 EU gets hiccups and WiFi doesn't work at all or work unstable, the network doesn't work either (no internet). I just lost connection when PPPoE and WAN were connected to the router. Also, I couldn't get access to the webUI to flash firmware back.

So to fix it, I had to remove WAN cabale. Restart the router, and after I could connect to webUI by Ethernet and flash it back to 1.0.9 Build 20240429 rel. 749, which works better than other firmwares but is still not perfect and has few bugs.

  @ChrisBS Yeah, it was a strange one. The computer stuck on 0% but if you went onto the Tether app from a mobile it was stuck on 99% download strangly I could still access the router menu from there. Do you know why is there a BE9300 firmware to download? I'm still trying to work out why there is a BE550 and BE9300 beta as both of these are related to my router.

Also where did you get the 1.0.9 firmware from?

Thanks

EDIT: What is going on with that other thread you started chris?? Has it been sabotaged or is it being buried? I commented on it but it's missing from the top and I have trouble finding it manually. I hope this isn't how this forum is run by the mods. I found the information in it very relevant to me.

EDIT 2: @Kevin_Z I know you are a busy guy Kevin but would realy apreciate an update on those Beta Firmwares that you uploaded. The BE 1.0.10 is being flagged as old and shows as 1.0.5, is it really a new one?

Also

The BE9300 beta will not install, is this the = be550v1-up-all-ver1-99-99P1(20240417-ref77410)-sign_2024_04_18_09.49.35.bin. Will changing the "be9300v1..." at the start of file to "be550v1..." allow it to be recognised and accepted by the router?

  @David6479

Hey, like you notice my previouse thread is hidden after i report all problems direct to Senior Technical Support.

About BE550v1 vs BE9300 its two diffrent models and the diffrence is:

BE550v1:

• 1× 2.5 Gbps WAN
• 4× 2.5 Gbps LAN

BE9300:

• 1× 2.5 Gbps WAN
• 1× 2.5 Gbps LAN
• 3× 1 Gbps LAN

The 1.0.9 Build 20240429 rel.749 firmware i got from Senior Technical Support via Email over 2month ago, its not aviable to download anymore but if you want i can send you this on DM. Just let me know :)

I try again install the: be550v1-up-us-ver1-0-5-P1[20240618-rel67925]_nosign.bin but all the time the same.. Routers become so unstable and cant connect interent anymore.. I write that to Senior Techncial Support but he said on his device its fine LOL.  This is f***UP...  So i back again to previous beta what i mention before.

@David6479 Sorry for my late response.

I did confirm with the engineering and development team, they confirm that the provided beta firmware is a newer version than the officially published one. The build number might not be updated since it's in beta testing.
